In case of a power outage, before you call in answer these questions:
| Did you check your breakers in your house? | |
| Did you check your breakers at the meter? | |
| Do your neighbors have power? | |
| Are the street lights out? | |
| Do you see any power lines down? | |
| Do you see any trees over the power lines? | |
| Did you hear any big bangs? |
Daytime power outages between 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. call 883-7940
Emergencies and after hour power outages call 883-7972.
Tips that help during an outage
| Turn off appliances that were on when the power went out. | |
| Keep one light on so you know when your power is back on. | |
| Keep a battery operated radio on hand to listen for outage reports. | |
| Tune into KQ92 FM or KERR 750 AM. | |
| Keep a flashlight on hand. |
