Ron Couture is the person responsible for managing and maintaining the Automated Meter Reading (AMR) Software Program. He monitors all the readings daily, and is responsible for notifying the appropriate personnel of any potential issues.
Mission Valley Power is undertaking a 5 year plan to implement AMR in our service area. Phase one of the project was the Pablo area, and it was completed in June of 2006. Phase two has been completed for the City of Polson, and the Charlo area. Currently, meters are being changed out in the East Shore area of Polson. This area should begin sending AMR readings in February 2008.
The next phase will encompass the Ravalli and Arlee areas.
